Witness the murder of a confused/panicked immigrant to-be....I think in these times it's more important to fight against the injustices surrounding us, than to sit around a table making ourselves fat and happy.

Perhaps take into account the rights you still hold and use it to work for change.

    Muppets Faces of Death

Oh happy day!!! Jesus Christ on the Cross! I rememeber this bit from years ago...one of those glorious classic bits that just left me beaming. So much so that I easily recall it after not having seen it but the 1 or 2 times a few years back...

Most inspiring work, I must say:)

I'm so in love w/ youtube on days like today...what w/ David the Gnome episodes, and discovering the claymation movie "The Adventures of Mark Twain". From the clips I've seen of the movie, it looks to be a total gem. Easily engrossing to ones of a higher vibratory state ;)

4th of July on Dallas...rainy...seriously, what the fuck...
next day...rainier...how real IS this dream?

Must get to library, so as to get ahold of some lusty love letters written by james joyce that have been censored by his benefactors. If I do nothing else today...

    What does it all mean???
HaHAAAAA, WACKY w/ a capital K. Just randomly surfing thru the net and decided to look up that videoclip of guy narrating ridiculously hard super mario stages again, b/c yesterday someone asked me what I searched for to find it originally....
Anyways, as I'm looking through the search results....I start hearing super mario music rather faint, combined w/ lots of buzzing electricity...W/ all the various noises and my lack of sleep, I was more readily accepting of the idea that I was hearing the music in my head, rather than one of my friend's apt neighbors happening to be playing super mario while I'm searching the net on the game next door @ 2am in the morning.

Bi-ZARRE. But boy do I have this slight urge to go find this mystery neighbor and see if he/she/they wouldn't mind me joining in on playing some oldschool mario. I can tell he's playing the original 8-bit game. Fuck I wanna play now...

I spent the majority of my day sitting next to a window, open to the sounds of birds/locusts/crickets/etc, reading A Wrinkle in Time for my 1st time. And contemplating/brainstorming flow of ideas for things I'd like to do or make. Lists are fun...some might consider them...beautiful. Want to do a painting series using the Alphabet, painting list of things that start w/ said letter that excite/delight me, weaving items together so as to make the whole painting cohesive. For all 26 letters. A few could be trouble-makers though...

We'll see what I think of it tomorrow...

    I'mmm gonnaaaa...go wander the perimeters a bit...

Makes SO much sense... things in such an absurdly evil state.

It's fucked up but in a weird way, I take solace in understanding the way "the powers that be" are orchestrating things...

    Ah, at last! Minor vindication!
A show on tv actually acknowledging the existence of chemtrails, an episode of "Best Evidence" on discovery times. Newfound respect for Discovery.

If only building a chembuster wouldn't draw unwanted attention to self...perhaps if placed in remote forest? Although I'm sure the surrounding animals might end up touching it and being harmed by the positive ions being collected within the device...

"So, what are you doing these days?"
Hmmm, ok, so now, I'm planning to move to CO in the next couple months, perhaps traveling to Vancouver in late August if all goes well, and now I think I shall like to take a trip to Belize in October for cyber-stoner-buddies' wedding. And then being amidst mayan ruins, and not too terribly far from the big ones (Macchu Picchu)...may go for bit of a pilgrimage/exploration into ancient ruins. Fuckin passport MONDAY or bust!

    The road ahead..
So I've decided to up and move to Colorado w/ friend. Was thinking Denver and that we'd be there by July. But certain obstacles have arisen for said friend which dictate it probably won't be till August. More time to find our place plus starting to lean more towards Boulder and the outskirts of the city perhaps.
Meanwhile...finding myself pulled towards collage pieces as of late. Need to put together 2 of them by weekend's end.
...desire focusing on exercises designed for mind/body/spirit integration.
...must go through stuff to sort garage/ebay sale, give-/throw- away.
...to make a point to socialize more (w/ old & new chums)
    ...pack up/organize/plan u-haul use
...planning on getting el chico job back for about a month or so, partly so as to still be earning maybe another grand or so while getting everything all ready, partly to keep me better grounded/disciplined/oriented so as to use time more wisely. (Actually found myself having a desire to pick up a tray and wait tables again last time I went out to eat where there was a wait. Kinda miss the adrenalin of the hustle and bustle.)

Seems there was something else I was inclined to mention...

Movin' to the country, gonna eat me a alotta peaches...
    Well...not exactly the country...

Just crashed for about 13-14hrs straight after 49-50hrs straight of open eyes.
Interesting to sleep for that long a stint w/ no waking in between...
A few sleep deprived days' ability to alter consciousness is also notable. To actually be rather interested in what one is reading/listening to but continuously fighting nodding off, doing this hardcore in front of a starbucks as I was rounding the 48th hour.

A few days ago, I just hadn't slept one day and crashed for about 3 hours, till I realized my bro was here to celebrate his b-day. Woke to a very interesting state, experiencing some trailers in the somewhat peripheral of my vision (not the corners of my sight, but not at the focal point). Got on w/ everyone on a beerbuzz rather nicely...

Shower and productive activity are calling...

Those who know me well should be prepared to be caught off-guard.

    ================================
Health and health freedom, like liberty, require constant vigilance.
    And activism.
    Now is the time.
    Again.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), like the FDA, continues to slash away at clean, healthy food, and this time the public comment period has been reduced to an absurd 7 days.

Under the USDA proposal, thirty eight new "ingredients" will be added to the National List. Only products which have been added to that list may be added to organic products and do not have to be noted on the label.

These changes were announced recently and the public comment period was limited to a totally irresponsible 7 days! That period ends May 22, 2007.

Among the Big Agribiz friendly changes:

Conventional hops (sprayed with pesticides, treated with herbicides and even, perhaps, genetically modified will be allowed in "organic" beer. Anheuser-Busch is reported to be lobbying hard for this one, by the way.

Conventionally raised animals (treated with antibiotics, growth hormones, fed genetically modified feed, concrete, newspapers, chicken parts and bones, slaughter house waste, etc., and subject to mad cow disease (as organic herds are not) will provide their intestines for "organic" sausage casings.

Fish oil (a wonderful dietary supplement) which has never been characterized or standardized would be permitted, allowing sub-standard oils from farm raised, chemical laced, cancer-ridden fish or poorly processed, mercury rich oils from ocean-dwelling fish would be added without further purity requirements. All fish oils are definitely not created equal. The proposed standards makes them that way, however.
Food colorings which may have synthetic, genetically modified, chemical or allergenic components will be permitted.

Ingredients like organic Lemon grass, Rice Starch, Beet Juice & Whey Protein Concentrate are available in sufficient quantities to allow stipulation that only organic grades be permitted. The new regulations allow non-organic ingredients to be used without label notification despite the availability of these organic ingredients.

Thanks for your activism! This is a long-haul battle and we need to keep fighting it whenever the attack comes!

Attuning to the Rhythms of Awakening...
The human heart can go to the lengths of God.
Dark and cold we may be, but this
Is no winter now. The frozen misery
Of centuries breaks, cracks, begins to move,
The thunder is the thunder of the floes,
The thaw, the flood, the upstart Spring.
Thank God our time is now when wrong
Comes up to face us everywhere,
Never to leave us till we take
The longest stride of soul men ever took.
    Affairs are now soul size
    The enterprise
    Is exploration into God.
Where are you making for? It takes
So many thousand years to wake,
But will you wake for pity's sake?

    -Christopher Fry
    A Sleep of Prisoners

Not sure if Fry is implying the Christian sort of "God" but it's of no consequence to me. This spoke to me deeply of human potentiality...

Time has come for us to get a move on, like it or lump it.

Mario, what is this spell you have over me?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_Bros.:_The_Lost_Levels

    This explains everything!!!

Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, known in Japan as Super Mario Bros. 2 (スーパーマリオブラザーズ2, Sūpā Mario Burazāzu 2?), is a video game produced by Nintendo, first released in Japan on June 3, 1986 for the Famicom Disk System. The game is very similar to Super Mario Bros., both graphically and in terms of gameplay, and is generally considered the most difficult game in the NES leg of the series. Because of the game's difficulty and its similarity to the first Super Mario Bros., and because then-chairman of Nintendo of America, Howard Lincoln, personally disliked the game, Nintendo originally decided not to release it in the United States. Instead, they localized an original Japanese game, Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, replaced the characters with those of the Mario universe, and released it in the U.S. under the title Super Mario Bros. 2. This game was not released outside Japan until an inclusion of a remake in Super Mario All-Stars for the Super NES.

I especially love what I put in bold. It explains why the 2nd Super Mario Bros. was so damn uncharacteristic of Mario Bros and wholeheartedly retarded.

I am so dead-set on playing this ridiculously complex, hence obviously maddening game.

    Hmmm...the Beatles' "Revolution9" for ringtone...me likey.

You know what's funny...considering the uproarious times we are finding ourselves in, I can't help but think perhaps Mario's sorta serving as a kind of weird worker bee for the Devil/Lucifer/the darkside/etc.

Put here to distract me from working towards my best interests, you see.

The fact that I just happened to have 1 of those new Nintendo DS Pocketgames practically fall into my lap (free, left toy at el chico) with MARIO'S FACE FUCKIN' BEJEWELED on the front is the image that sorta crystallizes the worker bee idea in my mind.

Perhaps I'll make a note not to play the game to the point of sacrificing food, sleep and drink. Aaaah, who am I kidding, I don't have the sttention-span to get sucked into those games anymore...

Don't worry, I'm not REALLY this dorky. ...

Also...it coulda been the THC...but I could swear the trees were talking to me yesterday...with the rustling leaves.

    What is life for?
To be LIVED, right? To be EXPERIENCED, no? To constantly seek out the great varieties of the world, to participate in the creations being made, to enact and REact.

...so why have I sat here so long twiddling my fingers? It must be the effect of fear. It must be the devil in me.

I've felt so lost for a while now...well, to varying extents, all my life. But...you know, it seems...if one wants doors to open for her, it would do her good to try a little knocking.

Still feel like I've got no direction to go...but I am going to really start looking for it.

These thoughts are most certainly a tad influenced by hanging out/painting as much as possible (w/adderall as a perhaps questionable aid) for pretty much 24hrs straight w/ an interesting genius but understandably fucked up friend from painting class. Just seeing how MUCH this girl's been dealing with, so much pain inside and out...makes me just wanna smack myself for being kinda down in the doldrums for a reason that seems so unplaceable.

Plus, today was officially the last day of my 1 3/4yrs stint at el chico. Feel mostly a great weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but am slightly glum about the loss of commoroderie w/ some of the people there...

Anyhoo...intention for the next 2 days is PURE FOCUS on art for the critique I have on wednesday. Cannot stand the idea of doing/showing the same half-assed sort of work as I ended up with for the Painting critique. I do actually value this teacher's opinion/ideas unlike the painting teacher.
